AndersFX — Cointiverse forensic case file

Some operations earn a place on the Cointiverse map through victim reports; Coincloudtrades arrived by regulator flag. Both routes end at the same coordinates: elevated risk.

Position on the risk map

Coincloudtrades is a suspected fraudulent broker that fails to provide any regulatory information. It only discloses that it is based in the UK, but upon investigation, we found that it is not authorized by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). And in fact, the FCA has listed it on its warning list due to concerns over illegal financial activities. Therefore, Coincloudtrades appears to be a scam.

Red flags on the map

  • Appears on an official regulator or fraud-warning list
  • No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
  • Withdrawal friction: new fees or conditions appear at cash-out time
