Some operations earn a place on the Cointiverse map through victim reports; ECM Group arrived by regulator flag. Both routes end at the same coordinates: elevated risk.
The warning on the record
According to its website, it claims to be registered in the Comoros. Upon investigation, no matching information was found in the MWALI INTERNATIONAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (MISA). The truth is that ECM Group is not regulated by any regulators. Letting it hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. ECM Group is a scam.
Red flags on the map
- Dashboard balances that cannot be verified on-chain
- Pressure to deposit more in order to unlock earlier deposits
- Appears on an official regulator or fraud-warning list
- No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
If you have funds with ECM Group
Stop sending money immediately – especially any payment framed as a tax, unlock fee, or verification deposit. Preserve everything: transaction hashes, wallet addresses, receipts, chat logs and emails. The paper trail is what a recovery review runs on.
