CA Markets: forensic cartography

AndersFX — Cointiverse forensic case file

We plot every flagged operation on the same network map, and CA Markets sits in a cluster our team knows well – a polished front, a scripted onboarding, and a warning record behind it.

What our cartographers found

CA Markets claims to be a brand name with multiple entities, is a CFDs broker licensed and regulated by theVanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) with license number 700714, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) with AFSL number 523351 and the New Zealand Financial Service Provider (FSP) under registration number 1002179, offering a range of investment products to traders, including forex, shares, indices, commodities, ETFs, bonds and and more instruments for trading in global markets. Upon investigation, we found that CA MARKETS LIMITED is licensed by the VFSC with number 700714 , but not disclosing the licensee's web address. We verified that CORPORATE ALLIANCE GROUP PTY LTD is regulated by the ASIC with AFSL number 523351, which is not disclosing the licensee's web address. And there is no representative named of CA Markets. And CORPORATE ALLIANCE GROUP only provides financial services to institutional clients.

Red flags on the map

  • Withdrawal friction: new fees or conditions appear at cash-out time
  • Aggressive outreach through social platforms and messaging apps
  • Dashboard balances that cannot be verified on-chain
  • Pressure to deposit more in order to unlock earlier deposits
