Hamilton — chain-cartography review

AndersFX — Cointiverse forensic case file

Some operations earn a place on the Cointiverse map through victim reports; Hamilton arrived by regulator flag. Both routes end at the same coordinates: elevated risk.

Reading the coordinates

Hamilton's website is currently inaccesible, claiming to be under maintenance. Our investigation suggests that the alleged registration with the Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and The Grenadines (SVG FSA) has been canceled, which the broker used to demonstrate its legitimacy and compliance. In essence, Hamilton is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. Hamilton appears to be a scam.

Red flags on the map

  • Dashboard balances that cannot be verified on-chain
  • Pressure to deposit more in order to unlock earlier deposits
  • Appears on an official regulator or fraud-warning list
  • No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
