LunarCapital — chain-cartography review

AndersFX — Cointiverse forensic case file

LunarCapital is pinned to our watch chart for a reason. When our cartographers traced the operation, the trail lined up with an official warning record rather than with any verifiable licence.

What the chart shows

According to its website, it claims to be located in the Marshall Islands and based in Europe. It is well known that the Marshall Islands International Registries (IRI) does not have the authority to regulate forex. Furthermore, we checked with European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) but found no matching information. In essence, LunarCapital is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. LunarCapital appears to be a scam.

Red flags on the map

  • Dashboard balances that cannot be verified on-chain
  • Pressure to deposit more in order to unlock earlier deposits
  • Appears on an official regulator or fraud-warning list
  • No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
