Some operations earn a place on the Cointiverse map through victim reports; Start Capital arrived by regulator flag. Both routes end at the same coordinates: elevated risk.
Position on the risk map
Despite claiming an established international reputation, Start Capital provides no verifiable regulatory credentials on its website. The company claims to be based in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. However, as far as we know, there is no regulatory authority in the country that oversees forex trading. Furthermore, we were unable to find any record of the company’s registration even with the Marshall Islands Registry (IRI), the organization which provides company registration services there. Therefore, Start Capital is believed to operate illegally and likely to be a scam.
Red flags on the map
- No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
- Withdrawal friction: new fees or conditions appear at cash-out time
- Aggressive outreach through social platforms and messaging apps
- Dashboard balances that cannot be verified on-chain
