Tag Markets

AndersFX — Cointiverse forensic case file

The case coordinates for Tag Markets were fixed the moment an official warning list picked the operation up. Our review of the available trail supports that placement.

The warning on the record

Tag Markets claims to be registered in Saint Lucia with the International Financial Centre (IFC), but this only grants International Business Company (IBC) status and does not constitute a financial license, as the IFC does not regulate forex trading. The company also states it is operated by T.M. Financials Ltd., licensed by the Mauritius FSC under number GB21026474; however, the FSC does not publicly associate licensees with specific websites or entities, making the connection difficult to verify. Based on these findings, Tag Markets appears to be a scam broker.

Red flags on the map

  • Pressure to deposit more in order to unlock earlier deposits
  • Appears on an official regulator or fraud-warning list
  • No verifiable licence for the jurisdictions it targets
  • Withdrawal friction: new fees or conditions appear at cash-out time
